A Canadian holding company was created to purchase the assets of Lavasoft. "It was soon discovered that the fund was actually a front for the entrepreneurs." Why such a biased statement?Ī. It was soon discovered that the fund was actually a front for the entrepreneurs (Daniel Assouline and Michael Dadoun) behind UpClick and Interactive Brands. The company was acquired in January 2011 by the Solaria Fund, a private equity fund. The whole section is mostly factually incorrect. But clearly the bias seems to continue to spread even more and it is now time for us (owners) to intervene. There has been 2-3 people who have taken a very negative stance against our company. = Controversy - Viewpoint by Daniel Assouline, CEO, Co-owner of adaware. The source for the apparent-controversy about Ad-Aware couldn't be even slightly reliable.
